Tell the Next Generation (Part 5)

What are you telling the next generation?

… we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord,  about his power and his mighty wonders.  ( Psalm 78:4 NLT)

Tell the next generation that God created the universe and everything in it.

Tell the next generation that God is the sustainer and upholder of all His creation.

Tell the next generation that God knows even the smallest details about His creation.

Tell the next generation Bible stories that … tell about the glorious deeds of the Lord,  about his power and his mighty wonders.

Tell the next generation the story of Noah.  Noah obeyed God and built an ark to save his family as well as animals that lived on the earth from the great flood that covered the earth.

Tell the next generation the story of Abraham.  Abraham left his country, his relatives, and his father’s house to become the father of the Hebrew nation.  He was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.

Tell the next generation the story of Joseph.  Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers, but God turned evil into good by placing Joseph second in charge to Pharaoh in the land of Egypt.

Tell the next generation the story of Moses.  Moses was used by God to lead His people out of the land of Egypt.

Tell the next generation how God used Joshua to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land.

Tell the next generation the story of David and the giant Goliath.

Tell the next generation the story of Daniel in the lion’s den.

Tell the next generation these and other Bible stories that … tell about the glorious deeds of the Lord,  about his power and his mighty wonders.

Tell the next generation that God reigns.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!” (1 Chronicles 16:31 ESV)
