Why should you talk to the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about his power and his mighty wonders?
(So) that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments; (Psalm 78:6-7 ESV)
Tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about his power and mighty works:
- So that they know how God is working throughout history
- So that the next generation is equipped to tell others about God
- So that the next generation puts their hope in God
- So that the next generation keeps God’s commandments
- So that the next generation desires to be delivered from the domain of darkness and transferred to the kingdom of his beloved Son.
